you! Massachusetts
is one of the rising stars in the world of wine. Thirty-four exciting
wineries and numerous vineyards are catching the attention of wine
lovers everywhere. Gathering from the diversity and steeped in the best
of New England traditions, wines are hand crafted with loving care from
grapes, fruit, berries, honey and flowers. The most
common grape wine varieties grown in Massachusetts are the vinifera
varieties, Chardonnay, Pinot Noir, Riesling, Gewurztraminer, Pinot
Blanc and Pinot Gris followed by the American Hybrids Vidal Blanc and
Cayuga. Massachusetts' wineries present you with a wide variety of
wines to complement a delicious spectrum of native foods. From
aperitifs to soups, salads, the main course, desserts and everything in
between, you will find a delightful selection of choices. Wine regions include Martha's Vineyard and Southeastern New England. CAPE COD WINERY 681 Sandwich Rd. Who We Are: Come Visit our Beautiful Vineyard and Winery in the Seaside Resort of Falmouth, Cape Cod, Massachusetts. We
have planted 6 varieties of wine grapes that grow well on Cape Cod;
Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, Merlot, Pinot Grigio, Seyval and
Vidal. We are open for wine tasting and sales weekends, May through December. Summer Hours are Thursday through Sunday, July 1st through August 30th 11-4 pm. Fall Hours are Saturday and Sunday 11-4 pm. Cape Cod Winery tours are Saturdays (July and August) at 2 pm.
